Chris Jaglowitz has practiced condominium law and dispute resolution in Toronto since 2003 and serves condo communities across Ontario.
He helps condo boards and managers navigate tricky situations by giving practical, economical solutions, often on a same-day basis. Good advice and sound strategies are the best assurance of a quick, lasting and economical solution to almost any condo problem.
When disputes aren't nipped in the bud, Chris counsels condo corporations and provides effective representation in mediation and arbitration proceedings and in the Superior Court of Justice. Chris also provides his services as a neutral arbitrator of condo disputes.
Chris assisted the Ontario Government's review of the Condo Act from 2012 to 2014 by sitting on its working groups and expert panel, calling for meaningful law reform and effective manager regulation that came true with Bill 106, the Protecting Condominium Owners Act, 2015. Much work still needs to be done (especially on the awful condo forms) and Chris remains active in recommending improvements.
