Carol is a partner with the law firm of Fogler, Rubinoff LLP. where she leads the condominium practice group. She has been an active member of the condominium legal practice since her call to the bar in 1996 with a focus on all matters of condominium law and condominium related litigation. Carol offers a pragmatic, practical and effective legal approach for her clients. She regularly advises Board of Directors on the requirements of the Condominium Act, 1998, and related compliance issues including easements and licensing issues, reserve fund and budgeting matters, common expense collection, meeting requirements and procedure, as well as enforcement of the Declaration, By-laws and Rules. As part of her active litigation practice, Carol has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as various administrative tribunals. She has been counsel of record on several highly publicized legal actions on behalf of condominium clients, which has included defending a residential condominium from an evacuation order, challenging proxy fraud, and enforcing declarant disclosure obligations. Carol has contributed to Condo Voice and Condo Business publications. She also has been a guest teacher for portions of the Humber College registered condominium manager course.
