Mr. Belanger is the Founder and President of Belanger Engineering and oversees all projects which are carried out by the firm. He has over 30 years' experience in the investigation and repair of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. This includes work in the fields of building sciences, pavements, and structures.

Paul has evaluated the structural and non-structural components of hundreds of buildings through detailed condition surveys and performance and technical audits. He has developed investigative, repair and maintenance strategies for building envelopes, windows, garages, balconies, mechanical systems and roof anchor systems. His experience also includes considerable participation in the development of technical standards, the preparation of reserve fund studies, construction budgets, construction specifications, tendering, contract administration and field review services.

Paul also has considerable experience in the field of concrete technology where he has managed a materials testing laboratory, served on several committees and assisted in the development of technical standards. Specific experience includes the evaluation of concrete mix designs and the investigation of warehouse floor slabs where he utilizes his extensive knowledge of the characteristics of plastic and hardened concrete.

Mr. Belanger is currently a member of the CCI Toronto Tarion Consumer Advocacy Committee and the Canadian Standards Association Technical Committee on Concrete Materials, Methods of Concrete Construction and Methods of Test for Concrete. He is currently the Subcommittee Chair on Residential Concrete.
