Deborah is a partner at Shibley Righton LLP in Toronto and is a senior member of the Condo Law Group.  Born and raised in Montreal, she received her primary education in the French school system, and is fluently bilingual in French and English.  She has been successfully engaged in the practice of law for over 19 years.

Her practice at Shibley Righton involves all aspects of condominium law issues, with some focus on employment, civil litigation, occupational health and safety, human rights, harassment, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.  Deborah has successfully represented clients at mediation, arbitration, administrative tribunals, and at various levels of court in Ontario.  She is a member of CCI, the Advocates' Society, Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers' Association, Canadian Bar Association, and Canadian Defence Lawyers. 

Deborah is actively involved in the condominium community and has written several articles for newspapers and magazines on condominium law topics.  She has taught condominium law to directors at CCI and in-house at various management companies.  She is frequently a speaker at law conferences, including the annual Condominium Conference in Toronto, and appears on television from time to time to discuss legal issues.
