In his career spanning more than 30 years, Bill has held positions ranging from Property Manager, to Vice President, to President at three different management companies. Bill is currently the President of Malvern Condominium Property Management, which is an "ACMO 2000 Certified Company" that has exclusively managed Condominiums since 1972.
Bill Thompson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. He attained his R.C.M. designation in 1988 and has proudly maintained that designation since then. Bill attained his ACCI designation from the Canadian Condominium Institute in June 2000, and was honoured by his peers with the FCCI designation in 2010. Bill has served on both the CCI National Executive Board and the Toronto Chapter Board helping to lead and coordinate condominium activities, and help the leaders of the industry create a better condominium lifestyle. Bill is a Licenced Condominium Manager and Principal Condominium Manager for his company. Bill is the recipient of ACMO 2018 Leader of the Year as well as the CCI Ron Danks Volunteer Leader award.
Bill has dedicated his career to making condominiums and the people that serve them, better in any way that he can. In his attempt to improve himself and the industry, he has tirelessly accepted speaking and teaching engagements on everything Condominium. He strongly believes that the key to ensuring strong Condominiums is through the ongoing provision of education and information to Condominium Directors who make all of the crucial decisions for their Owners. You may not always agree with everything that Bill says, but you will likely find yourself adopting many of his ideas into your daily activities.
