MICHAEL LANDSBERG, FORMER HOST, TSN'S OFF THE RECORD
Michael Landsberg has talked a lot in his life. Ironic because once upon a time his parents were concerned because at the age of 3 he still hadn't said a word. He has more than made up for it.

Michael has spent literally thousands of hours on television. His broadcast career has taken him from Sportsdesk to Off the Record, from the Vancouver Olympics to UFC Octagons, NHL arenas and virtually every other place sports are played in North America.

Michael was best known for hosting Canada's longest running and most unique talk show Off the Record. That is until November of 2009 when on OTR he revealed his then decade long struggle with severe depression. From that point on he has become best known as "the guy who talks openly about his mental illness."

Since that day on OTR in 2009 Michael has targeted the stigma surrounding mental illness. He has been an ambassador for Bell Let's Talk day since its inception in 2012.

He founded the Not for profit, SickNotWeak, with the aim at getting people to see mental illness as a sickness not a weakness. Michael has produced documentaries, done TV and radio shows, used social media daily, given speeches, done daily video blogs, written articles, all saying virtually the same thing about his mental illness: "I am not ashamed or embarrassed. I am sick not weak."
